Rather than call myelf a "corporate lawyer" or an "employment lawyer", I define myself by my clients: I represent businesses and business owners and help them become more successful and more profitable. My goal is to improve your bottom line. I look to provide solutions for my clients in whatever area they may need counsel and advice. My experience has included jury trials in state and federal courtrooms; structuring the purchase or sale of multi-million dollar businesses; negotiating labor contracts; designing estate plans for business owners with complex financial and personal challenges; managing real estate purchases; and counseling employers on difficult termination or discipline issues. At the same time I recognize that there are occasions when specialized legal expertise is important. My practice has also brought me into contact with many of the leading lawyers in Minnesota and I have a significant referral base for lawyers in those areas or issues where we conclude particular and specialized legal expertise is essential.
